Anya & Mikey | Sussex Engagement shoot

A few images from this weekend’s pre-wedding portrait shoot with Anya and Mikey ahead of their October wedding at Nutfield Priory Hotel in Surrey. Shot just over a mile from my house in the remnants of the ancient woodland of St Leonard’s Forest that dominated the Sussex Weald for centuries. It was said that within it “monstrous serpents were seen in the country of the Southern Angles that is called Sussex”.

The scene of the last dragon slaying in England by St Leonard no less (?) – no serpents these days, just dog walkers and mountain bike riders.

Wonderful post. A picture is worth than thousands words. Photography is indeed the best way to express your feelings and depicts the era. I love photography and look over the web for finding useful stuff for the same. I came across your blog and after subscribing in my feeder I hope you will keep on the good posts like this continuously. Thanks You

I like the pictures very much. Well done to the reluctant models and three gold stars for the photographer.

Thanks for a fun afternoon in the woods Martin, we love these pictures! You did an excellent job of making us two reluctant models feel relaxed and we’re really looking forward to you capturing the memories of our big day 🙂
